![]() But hindsight would have been good, I am a very light sleeper, and found that our room that was just above the reception was a bit noisy with car doors slamming, the hotel weighted door shutting rather loudly, and the road was quite busy with traffic, also couldn't open the window for long because of people smoking outside the reception area and you could smell the smoke, being a non smoker I didn't like that. I had upgraded to a room with 2 single beds, but when we got to our room it was a huge double bed, we were so tired I just couldn't be bothered to go down to reception to change it. ![]() It was great having a little kitchenette for making small snacks etc, the shuttle service to take you to DLP was first rate!!!! Check in was fine, they do take a "locals or residence tax" off you, it was just 23 euro's for the 2 of us. My daughter and I have just returned from Disneyland Paris, I chose the Relais Spa because of its location and swimming pool, (sadly we didn't use the pool), but it looked super. The staff were at all times pleasant helpful and courteous especially the shuttle bus drivers. However my daughter was unable to use the facilities as you have to be sixteen. My son used the spa and pool and enjoyed it although being a swimmer he found the pool small. They unexpectedly had a kitchen part to them with a fridge dishwasher and small hob along with pans and utensils. We had adjoining rooms with an interconnecting door which was great and the standard of the rooms was very high, lovely and comfortable. The restaurant in the hotel was quite pricey so we didn't eat there in the evening but the breakfast was very nice and more than adequate. The hotel run a shuttle bus to Disney regularly throughout the day, so we were able to go back to the hotel for lunch and a break before heading off again for the rest of the afternoon and evening. It was a good decision as our children are teenagers and not at all interested in the full on 24hr Disney experience you get in the hotels in the park. We stayed here for two nights at the end of a holiday in Paris as we were going to Disney for a day. The shuttle service to Disney was faultless, run by a the highly efficient concierge desk. ![]() Sadly we had no time to use the spa, but it looked lovely. ![]() Housekeeping miss the obvious dust spots too. The rooms are stylish and well thought out, but the quality of the fittings may not stand the test of time. The desserts were gorgeous! The only negatives, were, that they did not replenish the tea/ coffee supplies or the bathroom sundries.( they supply soap and a not very nice combined hair and body wash). Beware if you are vegetarian, there is nothing for you except one goats cheese starter. We ate in the restaurant the first evening, the food, service and ambience were excellent, if a little expensive. The room was exceptionally well equipped, the mini kitchen had a microwave, fridge, kettle, 2 burner hob and even a dishwasher - the smallest I've ever seen! The bed was large and comfortable, the TV large (couldn't find an English Channel), the bathroom worked well (hairdryer in bathroom), the room was very spacious with a huge amount of storage space, plenty of sockets, fair wi fi, and safe, all topped off with a nice balcony with table and two chairs. ![]() The welcome from reception, giving us all the information we needed for our stay in English made check in a pleasure. ![]()

![]() ![]() It's the perfect pre-meal, especially with that amazing bread and oil they bring to the table. I am usually one who gets a salad before my meal, but I cannot turn down their creamy, smooth chicken velvet soup! This is a top date night spot for my husband and myself. Not too filling, but satisfying. These are Soups of the Day so if you're really hankering for them, maybe call ahead! Charbonos - Chicken Velvet Soup This one would make a great lunch or the perfect compliment to dinner. One that requires ingredients I don't have on hand, preparations I don't have the patience for and a culinary skill set I lack. This is just the kind of soup I was talking about. The Potato Leek Soup suggestion did not surprise me in the least. I've not had their Corn Chowder, but I love a good chowder. We received two favorites from Stone Creek - Corn Chowder and Potato Leek soup. Here are some other top spots to score a cup, bowl or troth of soup, according to our locals: Stone Creek Dining Company - Corn Chowder and Potato Leek It seems that eateries known for serving delicious soup have more than one local favorite on the menu. The Bread Basket, so cozy and warm, is the perfect place to enjoy a cup of delicious homemade soup. How would one choose just one, or two, even? I hope all of these are never on the menu at the same time. It seems you can't go wrong with a soup order here, but the suggested favorites include: Creamy Chicken and Rice Soup, Butternut Squash Bisque, White Chicken Chili and their Tomato Basil. That's good news, though, as the soup menu here is different everyday. Bread Basket Cafe & Bakery - All Soupsįour different soups served at the Bread Basket in Danville were suggested on our poll. You'll definitely want to order a bowl of this crowd favorite, but even if you don't see the Dill Pickle Soup on the menu, don't hesitate to try their other soup offerings.įollow their Facebook page and catch their awesome, daily "soup-mercial" to see what they're serving up each day. Like many locally owned cafes, the soup menu changes daily, and I've heard every single one is a hit. This Dill Pickle Soup, as the title suggests, is no ordinary soup.Ĭourt House Grounds, located on the square in Danville, uses fresh, local ingredients and makes all their dishes in house. This soup is thick, with tender chicken, corn, peppers and the perfect blend of spices. The fresh ingredients - cilantro, crunchy tortilla strips, avocado, shredded cheese and lime - are all delivered in the warm bread bowl and a bubbly, delicious soup is poured over them at the table. Plus, when you have it served in a bread bowl, there's an impressive presentation that comes with it. The soup itself would still sit at #2 on my list if I had to sip it from a cup, but in a fresh, garlicky bread bowl? I've ordered this fine soup sans the bread bowl and every time, I'm full of regret. This soup has made quite the repeat customer out of me. You can catch their "soup of the day" and other specials here on their Facebook page. You can't go wrong with either of these options. Both are delicious, both are super filling. In addition to my personal favorite, The Beehive received votes for two additional soups - the White Bean Chicken Chili and their Lasagna Soup. I kind of don't want to know what secret combination of herbs gives it such a distinct flavor. Need I say more? What makes this soup my favorite is the flavor. Red potatoes and bacon in an amazing corn chowder base. I may also be known to ask if they have any leftovers in the fridge. The fine folks at The Beehive in Danville might as well start ladling this deliciousness into a bowl when they see me walk through the door. Keep warm this season with some of these suggestions. ![]() There's no shortage of delights in Hendricks County when it comes to soup! My friends and I invite each other over to dinner pretty frequently. Why? Well, let’s talk about my shellfish allergy. If you don’t have a good headpiece, it will look better to have a less-than-ideal one than it will be to go without one. You will want to include all seven of those components, even if you know that what you’re putting in that category isn’t all that perfect. In your coordinates, you will want to check all seven of those boxes. The seven main components of a lolita coord are 1 ) skirt, 2) petticoat, 3) not shoulders, 4) headgear, 5) socks, 6) wrists, and 7) the rest. Did you have items 1-7 on it? Can you add them, or at least a thing to indicate that you understand you should have something? This is also a good thing to run past when you’re building a coord and think it’s almost done. This is just identifying the components of the lolita coordinate. This is not about how to make sure that the elements of your coordinate go together, or how to dress certain ways for certain styles. ![]() But it’s important that you try to make it a complete coord. One of the first things to note is that your first coord will not be perfect. It’s often shortened “coord” or occasionally “co-ord”, though that second phrasing is falling out of fashion. A complete lolita outfit is called a coordinate. You’re allowed to have fashion interests outside of lolita. ![]() All the love in the world won’t make it lolita, but that doesn’t mean it can’t be loved. You can be proud of it, and you can wear it, and you can love it. Even if you attempted lolita, and it didn’t make the mark, if you love that look, then you love that look. You’re allowed to love looks that you make that aren’t lolita. Just learn to follow them.Īnd remember the other rule, and keep this very close to your heart. So here is my first piece of tough love: Don’t bitch about the rules. I want to be nice and welcoming to new people in the fashion, but I also want to be really honest here, because lying to new people doesn’t help them. It’s also like how the first thing you ever cooked was probably Top Ramen or mac and cheese, and probably wasn’t traditional chocolate eclairs or egg yolk ravioli. You can think of it like training wheels on your bicycle when you learned how to ride it. But you want to start out by using the rules to help you make a look. It’s a little bit less like how we think of punk fashion, and a bit more about how we think of white tie attire.īefore you bitch about the rules, I just want to say that, once you start following the rules, you’ll learn how to effectively break the rules. A lot of mainstream fashion tends to have a sort of general look that you’re trying to reach, lolita fashion has some very specific requirements for what should be present in a lolita look. One of the things that’s really cool about lolita fashion is the way that it’s structured, and the “rules” of lolita outfits. So you’re interested in wearing lolita fashion? That’s super cool! It’s a really fun fashion to wear, and a really cool community to be a part of. ♥ Please make sure to properly measure your nails as 1mm can change everything, Make sure to write your measurements in the "add personalization" section.First of all, and this will become relevant: I am allergic to shellfish. ♥ All nail orders comes with an application kit which includes everything you'll need ( 1x File, 1x Buffer, 1x alcohol wipes, 1x Cuticles pusher, 1x Adhesive Tabs sheet, 1x Nail glue as well as application instruction ) I only use premium products in the creation of my press on nails, no corners are cut in order to make extra bucks ! Here’s what’s in the store currently, for Overwatch League skins: Image: Blizzard Entertainmentīlizzard plans to roll out new cosmetic content frequently, and many players may not be able to acquire them all without spending some money (or grinding hard) for Overwatch Coins. (That amount of coins would cost roughly $130 outright.) Image: Blizzard EntertainmentĪnd as with the original Overwatch, Blizzard has a set of Overwatch League-specific skins. As shown in the menu below, buying 75 tiers would set a player back 15,000 coins. But they’re also inline with skin costs in other free-to-play games like Apex Legends and League of Legends, and players will be able to earn Overwatch Coins in-game by completing challenges - a free route to unlocking coveted cosmetics.įor players who have more money than time - or, somehow, a surplus of Overwatch Coins - players can also buy their way through each battle pass to unlock its cosmetics immediately. Those prices may come as bit of a shock to Overwatch players, who were accustomed to getting most of that game’s skins for free through lootboxes earned by playing or maintaining high endorsement levels. (Blizzard denotes those bundles as offering discounts on full prices.) Bundles for other cosmetics go for more, between 1,500 and 2,000 coins. A solitary skin for Doomfist (Kìnìún) goes for 500 Overwatch Coins, equivalent to $4.99. It includes two bundle-exclusive Space Raider skins (one for Cassidy, one for Soldier: 76), 2,000 Overwatch Coins, 15 skins from the original Overwatch, and the premium battle pass for season 1.īeyond that pack, Blizzard is also selling skins for heroes like Kiriko, Sojourn, Doomfist, and Junker Queen. The Overwatch 2 Watchpoint Pack is available for sale for $39.99. Here’s a peek at some of the skins and bundles, and how much they cost using Overwatch 2’s currency, Overwatch Coins. ![]() The list of available cosmetics doesn’t stop there: Blizzard is selling a bunch of skins (some bundled with voice lines, sprays, and highlight intros) through a store accessible via the main Overwatch 2 menu. ![]() Image: Blizzard Entertainment via Polygon If players earn a souvenir, they can equip it from the hero gallery, and an associated emote will then be equippable from the list of owned emotes.Ĭheck out the gallery below to see the heroes of Overwatch 2 presenting the list of existing souvenirs. Souvenirs in Overwatch 2 can be earned through a battle pass or purchased in the in-game store, and they include things like a miniaturized model of the payload from the King’s Row map, a slice of pineapple pizza, a cartoon heart, and an oversized salt shaker (used to convey the opposing team’s saltiness, of course). While fans of first-person shooters like Overwatch are likely familiar with the concept of weapons charms - tiny, dangling accoutrements that hang off of weapons and armor - the purpose of Overwatch 2’s souvenirs may not be as evident. ![]() ![]()
